Corporate Newsletters
For several years (late 1991 through 1997) at The Danter Company, I was fully responsible for creating the corporate newsletter that was sent to clients, prospective clients and industry insiders. I have posted PDF copies of several of these newsletters here for your perusal, or you may go to The Danter Company website and look over the full catalog. After 1997, we decided to post individual articles online occasionally instead of sending out the newsletter through the mail.
- Apartment Resources, May 1992 – compilation of series analyzing basic mistakes that apartment leasing agents make during the showing process. I analyzed several years worth of shopping reports that we had conducted for clients across the country for this series.
- Apartment Resources, May 1993 – condensed version of article I ghost wrote for my boss for Mortgage Banking magazine, plus an examination of how capture factors can be skewed by choosing an inappropriate market area.
- Apartment Resources, October 1993 – examination of demographic and market trends and their impact on multifamily apartment development
- Apartment Resources, November 1994 – examination of how to maximize the usage and marketing potential of a clubhouse for existing and potential tenants
- Danter Report, October 1995 – Guide to Danter Company methodology, which differs dramatically from most market feasibility research firms. This issue continues to be sent out in our marketing package 15 years later.
- Danter Report, July 1996 – examination of where a multifamily development is likely to attract its future tenants, both geographically and economically. This issue also features an overview of strategic rehabilitation, the concept of examining a multifamily development in the context of its market from a pricing, marketing, and amenity standpoint and developing strategies to provide maximum return on investment.
- Danter Report, Summer 1997 – topics include the relationship of antigrowth regulation on housing development, areas for-sale housing sales agents can improve their marketing process and the importance of landscaping on condominium sales.
Sales and Marketing Materials
For a few years I created sales and marketing materials for Classic Tradition Homes, a condominium development firm established by my boss at The Danter Company. Here are some of the marketing materials I created for this firm.
- Floor plans – Using Adobe Illustrator, I created and annotated one-page floor plan handouts to distribute to potential buyers based on engineering drawings.
- Logo – Using Adobe Illustrator, I designed the logo for two development
- Corporate overview for potential investors
Shareholder Communications
For Classic Tradition Homes, I created a quarterly investor update for each of the developments that was sent to investors in each of the limited partnerships that funded each of the development. These pieces features corporate news as well as sales reports and status reports on the individual developments.
